To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon mission launch, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center plans to set a new Guinness World Record by simultaneously launching 5,000 Estes rockets on July 16th. Communities and organizations around the world are also invited to join in the celebrations. Sugar Hill will join in with a community rocket launch event planed for July 16th followed by a matinee showing of the new “Apollo 11” film in the Eagle at 3 PM.
