On Wednesday June 5th, The City of Sugar Hill will be testing its' outdoor weather alert sirens. This test will occur at 12:00 pm EST. This is the first of monthly siren tests that will all take place on the first Wednesday of every month during sever weather season. To avoid confusion, if bad weather is present on the first Wednesday of the month the test will be postponed until the following Wednesday. The 2019 testing schedule is as follows:

July 3rd
August 7th
September 4th
October 2nd
November 6th
December 4th
The City of Sugar Hill is committed to improving the safety and quality of life for its residents with one of the largest siren systems in Gwinnett County. This siren system is designed to be heard outside and has automatic activation in order to warn residents outside to seek shelter. This system is not designed to alert anyone that is in a home or business.
